The Mott Community College Build School is a
gem! The 3-day class was fantastic! I was excited about how fast
the car went together and about all the engineering (FFR) built into
the car to make it so easy to build. Both Jim and Todd were
excellent!
If you buy a kit you can cut your build time in
haslf by taking the FFR Build School. Anyone that buys a kit and
doesn’t take the course will certainly spend many, many hours
building the kit that could have been spent driving their treasure!

| "The mott Build School should be a knee jerk
reflex recommendation for any novice thinking of taking on this project.
It should be VERY STRONGLY recommended to everyone else. These guys
will show you things that will save you HOURS of work and LOTS of money -
things you could only know after doing a few dozen of these kits. The
three days were packed with valuable information. This course is so
well organized, I'm at a loss for words. Between the build sections,
there were short seminars on a variety of topics which allowed me to take
notes...and notes...and notes. An appropriate amount of breaks
allowed for each student to ask questions more specific to their build
plan. What more can you ask for than 3 full days of Roadster talk!!

In the end, I learned that:
1) I can build the car
2) Made a bunch of friends
3) I can build the car
4) Got lots of pics
5) I can build the car
6) Will have saved myself time and frustration
7) I can build the car
8) Mott College Build School is worth a lot more than they charge!
9) I can build the car
10) The FFR Roadster kit is the way to go"Marc St. Amand

| "The class by far exceeded my every
expectation. Anyone who has not yet attended the build school has
missed out on one of the most powerful FFR experiences that I believe
exist; the opportunity to be guided through the pre-build or build
planning process, by individuals who have built several FFRs, all the
while gaining priceless tidbits of information that only comes from having
first hand experience." Mirko Chardin

| "The build school is a very worthwhile
experience. Nick and Tony are great teachers. I could have
built the car without the school, but I'm sure it would have taken much
longer and been much more frustrating. The tricks and knowledge they
impart is priceless. It is dangerous though - I had planned on
ordering a kit sometime this fall, but after last weekend's class, I
couldn't wait. So I ordered one (the next day)." Todd Cecchi

| "I attended the June 2003 Mott College
Build School. I enjoyed the class so, and learned so much that I
had to write to express my appreciation. Having heard and read the
accolades of the course, I expected it to be informative, and very
useful. But not far into the first of the 3 days, I realized that
it would be more than I had anticipated. The operative word being
"MORE". The class was more informative, more
interesting, more fun, and more enjoyable than I could have hoped.
It is an exemplary hands-on learning environment that is clean, safe,
and extremely organized. The class gave me the confidence to take
on mechanical techniques with which I had no experience and in some
cases, no awareness whatsoever. Factory Five is wise to co-sponsor
this class. It provides a great source of assembly and design
feedback from real students building a real car.
I give the class my highest recommendation.

| "I went into this class expecting a Factory Five
Racing subsidized sales pitch for three days. What I found was a
carefully planned and well executed demonstration of how to build a kit
car, how to overcome the many pitfalls that could turn what was to be an
enjoyable endeavor into a never-ending nightmare of dashed dreams and
wasted money. Each day of the class was presented in a clear,
concise and logical sequence allowing for detailed questions and answers
as the project progressed.
The overall skill level of the class was taken into account and
individuals that did not have certain skills or little practical
experience were unobtrusively nurtured and given the extra time and
attention they needed. The succinct presentation of a large amount
of complex information in such a short period of time goes only to
demonstrate the quality and caliber of the two instructors, and the
considerable preparation put forth before the class."

..."it was the most value added event I have ever
attended...a small price to pay for the confidence I obtained with the
hands-on knowledge and experience. I can't start to put a price on
the reduced frustration level and the improvement in how to do it right
the first time that...this course has provided me."

| "(the) class was incredibly well thought out and
organized...it was immediately apparent (that we) were being instructed
by experts in the field. I had been contemplating building a
(roadster) for quite some time, but was not sure of the quality of the
various kits and the skill level required to complete such a
project. I am happy to say that I am now confident in the
engineering of the Factory Five kit and my ability to complete this
project.
I would probably not have taken the plunge were it not for your
excellent class."
