I met with Garry just last week at the 2013 SEMA Show. Garry is a great customer and a good friend. His dark blue Type 65 Coupe has won numerous awards and his craftsmanship is top notch. Garry attended last week’s Reptile Round-up which is a customer-based event held every year in Florida hosted by the Deep South C-car Club. The three day event included a Friday cruise (this year to the Navy Seal Museum), a Saturday track day at Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR), and a Saturday night car show and dinner in Jupiter, FL. Here are some cool photos from Garry Bopp.

“I just returned from Palm Beach Gardens, FL after spending the weekend at the annual Reptile Roundup. The first two pictures are of John and Debbie Hill’s gorgeous “street look” Mk4, #7388. I fell in love with this car and the pictures do not do it justice. John has had the car on the road since June of this year.
The other photos were taken by the track photographer during the “intermediate class” track sessions. I was pretty much the slowest guy in the class but I had never been to PBIR before so that’s my excuse!
Have a great Monday! BTW, I turned 64 years old today but still consider myself a “gray haired teenager” …
Best Regards,
Garry”
This was Garry’s first go-out at Palm Beach International Raceway. He ran in the intermediate group.
Garry’s dark blue Type 65 Coupe earned Editor’s Choice at the 2013 Modified Mustang & Fords Cruise-In.
Thanks for the great report, Garry! We have been meaning to attend this fun event for some years now, and it always falls right around SEMA and PRI Shows. Hopefully we can make it next year. It looks like a blast!
