The 2017 Factory Five Winter Open House this past Saturday saw clear skies and temps in the mid 40s. Customers got to check out the new all-steel ’33 Hot Rod and Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe while catching up with friends and having a some donuts. Customer Bob G. drove his 1,000+ HP Type 65 Coupe to the event.
Factory Five President Dave Smith gave a tour of the facility around 10:30 and the event wrapped up around noon. It was another fun event and we’re looking forward to seeing even more customers throughout the year at other shows. Check out some photos from the Winter Open House below.
The all-new steel body ’33 Hot Rod and Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe were on display in the showroom.
The half mobile Mk4 Roadster was also in the showroom for customers to check out.
Factory Five Bob G. and his pit crew drove their 1,000+ HP Type 65 Coupe to the event.
It wouldn’t be a Saturday morning at Factory Five without a kit pick-up and this weekend was no different. Factory Five customer Mark B. (right) loaded up his Mk4 Roadster with the help of Peyton (middle) and Jay (left).
Cody also came to the Winter Open House to see what Factory Five has been up to.
Customers got the chance to see the new Gen 3 Coupe frame up close.
It was coffee and donuts this year for Moochfest.
By 10:00, the showroom was getting pretty full with customers checking out all of the cars.
At 10:30, Dave Smith gave show attendees a tour of the factory. Here the tour is checking out the Mk4 Roadster chassis jig in welding.
The tour ended in the chassis assembly area.
