The 2017 Barrett-Jackson Northeast show was the second time the famous auction was held at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, and Factory Five has attended both times. Similar to the Barrett-Jackson event earlier this year in Scottsdale, AZ, we had two displays: one with our show cars and the other in the DIY area.
In our display, we brought our steel body ’33 Hot Rod, the famous “half-mobile” Mk4 Roadster, a Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe street car, and a ’33 Hot Rod rolling chassis. Over in the DIY section next door, we were making some upgrades to an Mk2 Roadster which would then go across the block on the final day of the auction. It would sell for $60,500 after commissions! A Factory Five Type 65 Coupe built by a customer also went up for auction last weekend and sold for $43,450. Click here to view the official page.

The Barrett-Jackson program is over 300 pages and features details on all the cars going up for auction including this page on the Mk2 Roadster.
The crew at Adams Polishes helped detail the Mk2 before it went on stage. All during the show, Factory Five cars were used to demo Adams Polishes in their booth.
Factory Five’s John D. also helped in the DIY section during Barrett-Jackson this year.

The 2017 Barrett-Jackson Northeast show was a big success! Our company was split doing double duty attending this show and the London Cobra Show in Ohio. If you live in the Northeast and you’re into cars, this is one of those events that should be on your list!
