Customer Michael H. tells us, “This project started when my son Lochlann and I built a SBC as a father/son project so he could learn how an engine works and how to work with tools. We had no idea what we were going to put it in at the time.
I started the ’33 Hot Rod build in March 2019 with the intent of finishing in two years. I started with the Stage 1 kit, and finished all the mechanical work in one year. The fun started with the Stage 2 kit!
After about a year of work, I found a retired builder, Bruce Edward’s to help me with the finer details of the bodywork and the finer build details. He pushed me to learn new skills and turn a hot rod into a really nice ride with a beautiful headliner, wipers, power windows, door poppers, and a wrapped dash.
