This isn’t the first rodeo for Michael Nunes and his crew at Windigo Racing. The Middletown, RI based builder is an absolute PRO with some serious hardware to his credit. So when he decide to build a Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod for a very prominent client of his, we knew it would be a good one.
Factory Five President Dave Smith with Windigo Racing’s Michael Nunes and Joe Fournier.
This morning, Michael and Joe Fournier (you remember Joe – he used to work here at FFR tech support and built an AWESOME street car and now works at Windigo Racing) dropped by to show off their most recent creation, the red ’33 Hot Rod shown here.
The Factory Five crew took a minute to check out the Windigo Racing built ’33 Hot Rod.
The car has some very interesting innovations and the craftsmanship is top shelf. The car is painted Boyd Coddington red with a custom tan leather interior, Engine Factory crate 351W engine with Inglese fuel injection stack intake.
The car runs a performance 3-link suspension tuned for street duty and fenders round off the very streetable package. The car was just finished and the owner has already racked up about 500 miles around town in his home state of Connecticut.
Congratulations to Michael and his crew on this fantastic build! We hope to see the car at the 2012 SEMA Show.
